This Student Code of Conduct outlines the standards of behavior expected of all learners participating in Soft AI Africa’s programs — including online courses, live classrooms, workshops, and AI hubs.

By enrolling in any Soft AI Africa program, students agree to comply with this Code.

1. PURPOSE

Soft AI Africa is committed to providing a safe, respectful, inclusive, and productive learning environment for all students, instructors, staff, and partners.

2. EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Students are expected to:

Attend classes punctually and consistently

Treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with respect

Act responsibly on all platforms (online and physical)

Follow instructions during classes and activities

Use AI tools ethically and responsibly

3. ACADEMIC INTEGRITY

Students must:

Submit original work

Avoid plagiarism or cheating

Use AI tools for learning and innovation — not fraud or misconduct

Credit sources where applicable

Misuse of AI tools for scams, impersonation, or harmful activities is strictly prohibited.

4. TECHNOLOGY & EQUIPMENT USE

Students must:

Handle computers, devices, and equipment responsibly

Not tamper with systems, networks, or software

Not install unauthorized applications

Not record sessions or redistribute materials without permission

Any damage caused through negligence may attract penalties.

5. SAFETY & CONDUCT

Soft AI Africa maintains a zero-tolerance policy for:

Harassment or bullying

Discrimination

Hate speech

Violence or threats

Sexual misconduct

Substance abuse within learning premises

6. ONLINE CONDUCT

When engaging online, students must:

Communicate respectfully

Avoid offensive or abusive language

Protect personal login credentials

Report suspicious activities

7. DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS

Violations of this Code may result in:

Verbal or written warnings

Temporary suspension

Permanent removal from programs

Termination of access to platforms

Serious violations may be reported to relevant authorities if required by law.

8. REPORTING MISCONDUCT

Students may report misconduct confidentially via:
